New project on EU awareness for Georgian and Ukrainian youth

Description

The YouthLink project aims to foster political education, EU awareness, and cross-cultural exchange between Ukrainian and Georgian youth. Critical political education on the European Union means providing a realistic view of the EU that is relevant for both candidate countries and strengthening the competencies of young people. Media labs will include online workshops, study trips, mentoring, and the creation of digital media by participants. Chatbots and other digital tools will be developed to spread content. The project is realized together with the NGO DEP from Tbilisi and the NEED from Kyiv and is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.

Last year, we launched the website of Citizen+, a three-year non-formal education project. The online platform covers the topics of democracy, conspiracy theories and disinformation, remembrance cultures, and Ukrainian history. The team in Kyiv and Berlin developed online courses, podcasts, articles, and webinars for young people. We thank our partners, NEED—science and education—for their years of cooperation.

In all our political and educational projects, we aim to foster youth empowerment by organizing participatory programs. After more than two years of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, we continue to create political education opportunities for young people from Ukraine, Georgia, and other places. We always welcome new collaborations—contact us!
